Basketball Game Preview: Immanuel Eagles vs. Central Valley Christian Cavaliers

The Immanuel Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against the Central Valley Christian Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Immanuel will be strutting in after a win while Central Valley Christian will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Immanuel turned things around against Reedley on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 70-50 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Eagles have posted since December 4, 2024.

Meanwhile, Central Valley Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a hard 59-44 fall against Kingsburg.

Immanuel's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-14. As for Central Valley Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-8.

Immanuel took their win against Central Valley Christian in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 85-63. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Central Valley Christian's Justin Stroud, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds.
