Volleyball Game Preview: Imperial Tigers vs. Southwest EC Eagles

Imperial is 1-6 against Southwest EC since March of 2023 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m.

Imperial is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 13th straight game last Thursday. They came up short against Calexico, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-16, 25-11.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Southwest EC, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Central last Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since March 25th.

Imperial's defeat dropped their record down to 7-20. As for Southwest EC, their victory bumped their record up to 13-20.
