Volleyball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin lost against Bellbrook on September 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats came up short against the Golden Eagles, falling 3-0. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Olivia Truesdell paced Franklin's offense, picking up 13 kills. Truesdell got some help from Megan Rogers and her 14 assists. Truesdell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Bellbrook, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Franklin has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against National Trail on the 27th. As for Bellbrook, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Archbishop Alter on the 29th.
