Doral Academy Red Rock blew past Pahrump Valley 67-44 on Monday. The Dragons pushed the score to 52-30 by the end of the third, a deficit the Trojans had little chance of recovering from.

Doral Academy Red Rock's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Brennan Cuello, who went 10 for 16 on his way to 22 points and six steals, and Daiton Williams, who went 8 of 13 on his way to 18 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Paris Brown, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 13 points and five rebounds.

Doral Academy Red Rock was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Innovations International was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. 2025 welcomed they with a 71-47 loss courtesy of Del Sol. One positive for the Ambassadors, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Doral Academy Red Rock's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-6. As for Innovations International, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything came up roses for Doral Academy Red Rock against Innovations International in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 70-36 victory. In that game, Doral Academy Red Rock amassed a halftime lead of 43-12, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Wednesday.
