Volleyball Recap: Biddeford Tigers vs. Deering Rams
With a playoff game on the line, Biddeford rose to the challenge on Monday. They came out on top against the Deering Rams by a score of 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
The final score came out to 26-24, 20-25, 25-16, 26-24.
Biddeford was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 24 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 15 consecutive games.
Biddeford's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Deering, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.
Biddeford will challenge Bonny Eagle at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bonny Eagle will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Biddeford surely won't give up without a fight. Deering does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
