Basketball Recap: Specially Fit Academy Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

The third road game was the charm for Specially Fit Academy, as they earned their first road win of the season. They came out on top against the Downey Christian Patriots by a score of 72-60 on Tuesday.

Specially Fit Academy is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.3 points per game. As for Downey Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.

Specially Fit Academy and Downey Christian could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. Specially Fit Academy will square off against Victory Rock Prep at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday down 180 places (223 vs. 43). Meanwhile, Downey Christian (ranked 224th) will meet Southern Coast Academy National (ranked 75th) at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
