There's no place like home for Shoreham-Wading River, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 52-18 victory over the Hampton Bays Baymen. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 46-6.

Shoreham-Wading River got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Noah Gregorek out in front who threw for 218 yards and five TDs while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushed for 97 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries. Those 97 rushing yards gave Gregorek a new career-high. George Greene was another key player, picking up 145 receiving yards and four scores.

Shoreham-Wading River now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shoreham-Wading River will challenge Kings Park at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hampton Bays, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bayport-Blue Point at 6:00 p.m. on October 10. The Baymen will need to watch out since the Phantoms have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
