Volleyball Recap: Red Oak Falls to Midway in First Game of Season

Red Oak had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Midway Panthers on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost five in a row.

Red Oak was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 25-22.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Red Oak will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Cedar Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Midway, they will host Rouse at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
