Baseball Recap: Lisbon Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Lisbon entered their tilt with Oakes on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Tornadoes. That's two games straight that the Broncos have won by exactly three runs.

Cruz Reinke made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Reinke was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Jordyn Bittner was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Eli Lyons was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Lisbon's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Oakes, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lisbon will face off against Northern Cass at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Oakes, they will challenge Hatton/Northwood at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday.
