Preview: Northbrook vs. Spring Woods
After two games on the road, Northbrook is heading back home. They will take on the Spring Woods Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northbrook will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 387th, while Spring Woods is ranked 121st).
Last Friday, Northbrook sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Jersey Village.
Northbrook was led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Angel Ramos and
Abraham Salvador Munoz, who scored both of Northbrook's goals. The pair have combined for a total of four so far this season.
Meanwhile, for the first time since back in January, Spring Woods was forced to settle for a draw on Friday. They and Cypress Creek finished up their match with a 1-1 draw.
Northbrook is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-7-1 record this season. With that draw, Spring Woods' record moves to 7-2-3.
