Baseball Preview: Crawfordsville Athenians vs. Danville Warriors

The Crawfordsville Athenians will head out on the road to square off against the Danville Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Danville took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Crawfordsville, who comes in off a win.

Crawfordsville can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 12-0 margin over Fountain Central. Crawfordsville's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Wyatt Motz was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (he also didn't allow any walks). Motz was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
