Basketball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

Liberty came up into this matchup off a tough 24-point defeat last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Evergreen Plainsmen by a score of 66-63 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Patriots have suffered since January 10, 2024.

Liberty is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-3. As for Evergreen, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

When Liberty and Evergreen next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Liberty will try to stop Bellevue's five-game winning streak when the meet at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, Evergreen will face off against Camas and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
