Baseball Recap: Round Lake Takes a Loss

Round Lake's last matchup with Antioch could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Saturday. The Panthers lost 14-2 to the Sequoits. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Round Lake saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Javier Rolon, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Round Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 5-21. As for Antioch, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-11-1 record this season.

Round Lake will welcome Barrington at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Antioch does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
