Soccer Game Preview: Lakeside vs. Northwest Christian School

Lakeside hasn't had much luck against Northwest Christian School recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Crusaders at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Lakeside earned a 3-1 victory over Colville.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northwest Christian School). They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over Newport on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for Northwest Christian School in their matchups with Newport: they've now won seven in a row.

Northwest Christian School hit Newport with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lincoln Crockett (5), Rhone Pitini, Wesley Jones, and Evan Lake.

Lakeside's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Northwest Christian School, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
