Menlo-Atherton is a perfect 10-0 against Woodside since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bears will square off against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Menlo-Atherton is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Burlingame just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Menlo-Atherton was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Burlingame work for it, especially in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20, 22-25, 28-26.

Meanwhile, Woodside came up short against Aragon on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20, 25-20.

Woodside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Menlo-Atherton, their loss dropped their record down to 21-9.

Everything went Menlo-Atherton's way against Woodside in their previous matchup on October 2nd, as Menlo-Atherton made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
