Softball Recap: Franklin Wins Going Away Against Edison Tech

Franklin got themselves on the board against Edison Tech on Thursday, but Edison Tech never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 17-0 margin over the Inventors. That looming 17-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bulldogs yet this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Franklin and bumps their season record up to 6-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.5 runs over those games. As for Edison Tech, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Franklin and Edison Tech will both be playing School of the Arts the next time they take the field. The Inventors will head out to face the Silverhawks at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bulldogs will host them at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
