Softball Recap: Port Washington Takes a Loss

Port Washington was the 12-11 winner over Slinger when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates fell just short of the Owls by a score of 9-8 on Friday.

Port Washington has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. As for Slinger, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Port Washington is set to take on their familiar foe Whitefish Bay at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Slinger will challenge rival Grafton at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
