Kloie Gibson was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases and two runs. Mady Ephland was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one triple and two RBI.
Jasper never got on the board in their matchup on Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Lakeland on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Vikings. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won four in a row.
Chloe Storm made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. Storm was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aspen Lehman, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two triples, and four RBI. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Calley Helms, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs.
Jasper's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Rich Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.
