Volleyball Recap: Estrella Foothills' Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Estrella Foothills entered their tilt with Deer Valley on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Skyhawks. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolves also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20, 25-10.

Sadie Snyder paced Estrella Foothills' offense, picking up 17 kills. Snyder got some help from Lily Merefield and her 15 assists. Snyder was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Estrella Foothills' win bumped their record up to 16-5-5. As for Deer Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-19 record this season.

Coincidentally, Estrella Foothills and Deer Valley will both be playing Agua Fria the next time they take the court. The Skyhawks will host the Owls at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Wolves will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
