Soccer Recap: Lancaster Comes Up Short

Lancaster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Skyline Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in January.

Lancaster's record is now 0-10. As for Skyline, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 4-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lancaster will host Duncanville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Duncanville will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Lancaster surely won't give up without a fight. As for Skyline, they will be playing at home against Mesquite at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Skyline is facing Mesquite at the right time seeing as Mesquite is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
