Basketball Game Preview: North Caddo Titans vs. North DeSoto Griffins

The North Caddo Titans will head out to challenge the North DeSoto Griffins at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, North Caddo came up short against Union Parish and fell 60-52. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, North DeSoto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against Minden, falling 65-16. While losing is never fun, the Griffins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 325th, while the Crimson Tide are ranked 52nd).

North DeSoto's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for North Caddo, their loss dropped their record down to 9-14.

Everything went North Caddo's way against North DeSoto in their previous meeting back in January of 2021, as North Caddo made off with a 63-40 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Caddo since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
