Hartford had won four straight at home, but on Monday they bumped their record up to 17-5 to make it five. They blew past the Port Washington Pirates 10-2. The win continues a trend for the Orioles in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won seven in a row.

As for Port Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. They have struggled against Hartford recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

For Port Washington's part, Hope Gilhooly was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
