On Tuesday, the Liberty Bison were able to grind out a solid win over the Moreno Valley Vikings, taking the game 56-46. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bison.

When it comes to explaining why Moreno Valley lost, don't look at Jamall Thompson. Despite the final result, he posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Alijah Maloid, who had nine points.

Liberty has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Moreno Valley, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6.

Liberty will face off against Canyon Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Moreno Valley, they will square off against Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
