Plant picks up 13th straight win at home

Recap: Plant Panthers vs. Alonso Ravens

The Plant Panthers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Alonso 72-8 at home. Plant has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Plant's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jazlyn Bowman, who scored 18 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Hanna Crouse, who scored 13 points along with five assists and five steals.

Plant pushed their record up to 11-7 with that victory, which was their 13th straight at home. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 39.46 points. As for Alonso, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-13.

Plant and Wildwood will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Wildwood will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. Hopefully Tampa Bay Tech focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Wednesday.
