Basketball Recap: Cadillac Heritage Christian's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

It was fun while it lasted, but Cadillac Heritage Christian's undefeated season came to an end after six games on Monday. They fell 52-41 to the Fellowship Baptist Academy Falcons. The loss put an end to the Patriots' undefeated start to the season.

It was another big night for Alexander Rodriguez, who went 9 for 19 en route to 24 points and four steals for Fellowship Baptist Academy. Rodriguez is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Logan McAlvey was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 12 boards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cadillac Heritage Christian fell to 6-1. As for Fellowship Baptist Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cadillac Heritage Christian will welcome Grand Traverse Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fellowship Baptist Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Libertas Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
