Baseball Recap: Durant Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Durant faced off against Tushka on Monday. The Lions fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 9-8. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eli McClure made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run and five RBI. He also scored a run, marking his first of the season. Aiden Diviney was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Durant's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Tushka, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Coming up, Durant will face off against Antlers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tushka has already played their next matchup (against Latta), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
