Evansville Reitz dropped their record down to 10-12 on Saturday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins at home. They fell just short of the Edgewood Mustangs by a score of 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Panthers have suffered since May 16, 2024.

Ella Ellerbrook spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
