Basketball Recap: Harvest Christian Comes Up Short

Harvest Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Victory Christian Academy Eagles and fell 56-14. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-1.

Victory Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Raygen Langley led the charge by putting up nine points. Carter Chatman was another key player, posting eight points.

Harvest Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Victory Christian Academy, they moved to 7-8 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Harvest Christian will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Chilton Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Victory Christian Academy has already played their next contest (against Adullam House Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
