            Basketball Recap: Ossining Pride vs. North Rockland Raiders        
        
		
        
        
            Ossining and North Rockland squared off in some playoff action  on Monday, but Ossining had to settle for second. They fell just short of the North Rockland Raiders by a score of  66-63. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  defeat the Pride have suffered  since February 10, 2024.
Ossining's loss  came despite strong showings from  Claire Schnecker and  Saniya Bell.  Schnecker  dropped  a double-double with 24  points and 11  rebounds, while  Bell  dropped  a double-double with 23 points and 13  boards. That was a full 38.1% of Ossining's points, marking the third time in a row  Schnecker has  posted  more than a third of the team's points.  Sophia Torrieri was another key player,  putting up seven  points in addition to six  assists and five  rebounds.
 Even though they lost, Ossining  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 15  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 11  offensive rebounds in 13 consecutive  matchups.
Ossining's record is now 16-5. As for North Rockland, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.
