Softball Recap: Plainview Extends Home Winning Streak to 13

Plainview had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the West Limestone Wildcats on Wednesday, sneaking past 6-4. The victory was familiar territory for the Bears, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Plainview pushed their record up to 38-8-1 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for West Limestone, with the loss, they broke their 14-game winning streak and moved their record to 44-6.
