Raines is 7-1 against Parker since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Raines will square off against Parker at 6:00 p.m. Raines has given up an average of 17.7 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Raines' offense. They came up short against Fernandina Beach on Tuesday, falling 16-0. Having soared to a lofty 36 runs in the game before, the Vikings' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Parker lost 25-10 to Riverside on Tuesday.

Hannah Goforth was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Parker's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Raines, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Everything went Raines' way against Parker when the teams last played on March 4th, as Raines made off with a 28-14 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Raines since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
