Volleyball Recap: Andrean Makes It Ten in a Row on the Road

Andrean saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Whiteland Warriors by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Fighting 59ers.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Andrean was: they took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15.

Ryder Marsh paced Andrean's offense, picking up eight kills. Marsh got some help from Trevor Prisby and his 11 assists. Prisby was also solid from the service line: he led the team with six aces.

Andrean's victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-3. As for Whiteland, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Coincidentally, Andrean and Whiteland will both be playing Lafayette Jefferson the next time they take the court. The Warriors will host the Bronchos at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Fighting 59ers will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
