Recap: Venus Bulldogs vs. Hillsboro Eagles
There's no place like home for the Venus Bulldogs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They secured a 41-36 W over Hillsboro on Tuesday. This was payback for Venus, who suffered a 42-38 loss the last time these two teams met.
Despite the defeat, Hillsboro saw an underclassman step up: Charlee Mack scored 20 points along with eight steals. Mack is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Melody Munoz, who scored nine points along with four steals and two blocks.
Venus' victory bumped their record up to 12-22. As for Hillsboro, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-24 record this season.
Venus does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hillsboro also has no future games currently scheduled.
