Football Recap: Forrest City Skates Past Hall with Ease

Forrest City barely beat Hall the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mustangs simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Warriors 50-6.

It was another big night for Kevin Young, who rushed for 170 yards and three TDs on only nine carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 106 rushing yards. Kendrick Patterson was another key player, throwing for 76 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Forrest City was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 215 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 154 rushing yards in seven consecutive games dating back to last season.

Forrest City's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Hall, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-5.
