Baseball Game Preview: San Antonio Memorial Minutemen vs. Pleasanton Eagles

For the second straight game, San Antonio Memorial will face off against Pleasanton. The Minutemen will head out to take on the Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. San Antonio Memorial has given up an average of 11.1 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

For Pleasanton's part, Cade Segura and Marcus Guardiola were major factors no matter where they played. Pleasanton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .722. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Pleasanton is on a roll lately: they've won 21 of their last 22 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for San Antonio Memorial, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13-1 record this season.
