Even though San Marin scored an imposing 59 points on Friday, Archie Williams still came out on top. Archie Williams walked away with a 68-59 win over San Marin. That's two games straight that Archie Williams has won by exactly nine points.
Archie Williams' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brian Wright, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. Julian Nichol was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with three steals.
Novato suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They were the victim of a rough 76-52 loss at the hands of Redwood. Novato has not had much luck with Redwood recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Archie Williams is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Novato, their defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 9-11.
Archie Williams was able to grind out a solid victory over Novato in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, winning 66-53. Will Archie Williams repeat their success, or does Novato have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
