Baseball Recap: MAST Community Charter Comes Up Short

If MAST Community Charter was riding high fresh off their 20-1 takedown of Valley Forge Military Academy last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The MAST Community Charter Panthers lost 17-7 to the New Hope-Solebury Lions on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost seven in a row.

MAST Community Charter saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tommy Zazulak, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

MAST Community Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for New Hope-Solebury, their record is now 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. MAST Community Charter will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jenkintown at 3:45 p.m. on March 31st. As for New Hope-Solebury, they will face off against Bristol at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
