Big game from Dunn as Molalla won 7-6
While Thursday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Gavin Dunn. He was dynamite on Thursday, striking out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits.
Dunn's strong effort led Molalla over Madras and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Molalla has some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since April of 2018, but a win here would be a good start.
