Football Recap: Elsinore Tigers vs. Palm Desert Aztecs
Elsinore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 7-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Palm Desert Aztecs.
Elsinore wouldn't let Palm Desert keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Elsinore can thank Adrian Stankevich and Camden Webb for forcing both of them. Webb didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble, made four total tackles, and defended a pass. Elsinore got some further help from Tyler Willeford: he made 11 total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Elsinore's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Palm Desert, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-2.
Elsinore will take on Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Palm Desert, they will have plenty of time to enjoy the win as they don't play again for a while. They'll take on Serrano at 7:00 p.m. on September 20th.
