Football Recap: Caleb Graham's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Tolland over Plainville

Tolland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Plainville Blue Devils, falling 43-18. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-6.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Caleb Graham, who threw for 293 yards and a pair of touchdowns. A healthy portion of that aerial production (84 yards to be exact) went to Symon Snyder, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Anthony Abarno was a one-man wrecking crew For Plainville. as he threw for 322 yards and four TDs, and also punched in one score on the ground. Abarno is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: he's passed for at least three every time he's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Chase Bouchard, who picked up 108 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Tolland's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Plainville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
