Basketball Recap: San Francisco Waldorf Takes a Loss

San Francisco Waldorf lost against Gateway back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The game between the San Francisco Waldorf Wolverines and the Gateway Gators didn't end well, with the San Francisco Waldorf Wolverines falling 57-42. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1002nd, while the Gators are ranked 410th).

San Francisco Waldorf has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Gateway, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Francisco Waldorf has already played their next game (against Drew), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Gateway is taking a road trip to challenge The Bay School at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
