Volleyball Recap: Cape Fear Christian Academy Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Cape Fear Christian Academy duked it out with Triton on Thursday. The Eagles took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 19-25, 25-15.

Cape Fear Christian Academy's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Triton, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cape Fear Christian Academy will square off against Southern Lee at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. The Cavaliers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Triton, they are taking a road trip to challenge Lee County at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
