Basketball Recap: Juneau-Douglas Takes a Loss

Juneau-Douglas played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 74-54 to the Ketchikan Kings. The defeat continues a trend for the Crimson Bears in their meetings with the Kings: they've now lost three in a row.

Juneau-Douglas' loss dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Ketchikan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

Juneau-Douglas does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ketchikan will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Dimond at 4:45 p.m. on March 19th. Ketchikan knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Dimond likes a good challenge.
