Softball Recap: Jefferson's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Jefferson strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on Trillium Academy with a sharp 14-7 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-2 on Friday.

Jefferson got a massive performance out of Emily Grube, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. Lindsey Gennoe was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Trillium Academy, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson will venture away from home to face off against Western International at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Trillium Academy, they will head out to challenge Summit Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
