Oak Park lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Ventura, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's match. The Oak Park Eagles were the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over the Ventura Cougars on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Eagles have posted since April 6, 2024.

Shaila Esparza was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That run was her first of the season. Kirthi Paramasivan was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Oak Park always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .536. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ventura only posted an OBP of .286.
