Basketball Recap: Ethan Moses' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Temple Christian Academy over Restoration Academy

Temple Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 56-50 heartbreaker at the hands of Restoration Academy.

Temple Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ethan Moses, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 13 boards. The dominant performance also gave Moses a new career-high in blocks (four). Luke Passetti was another key player, putting up 13 points and six steals.

Temple Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Restoration Academy, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-13.

Coincidentally, Temple Christian Academy and Restoration Academy will both be playing Lee Park Prep the next time they take the court. Restoration Academy will host Lee Park Prep at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, while Temple Christian Academy will play them later in the day, at 8:15 p.m.
