Basketball Recap: Chickasaw's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Chickasaw lost against Clarke County last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chickasaw Chieftains fell to the Clarke County Bulldogs 64-59. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (56), the Chieftains still had to take the loss.

Chickasaw's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-10. As for Clarke County, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.

Chickasaw will welcome Washington County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chickasaw knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Washington County likes a good challenge. As for Clarke County, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Jackson will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Clarke County surely won't give up without a fight.
