Basketball Game Preview: Stanley County Buffalos vs. Bennett County Warriors

The Stanley County Buffalos will head out to take on the Bennett County Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with 14 defeats in a row, Stanley County turned things around against Todd County on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 38-22 win over the Falcons.

Meanwhile, Bennett County hadn't done well against Jones County recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Bennett County strolled past Jones County with points to spare, taking the game 48-32. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Stanley County's victory ended an eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-14. As for Bennett County, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2.

Stanley County came out on top in a nail-biter against Bennett County when the teams last played back in January of 2021, sneaking past 33-31. The rematch might be a little tougher for Stanley County since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
