Basketball Recap: Halifax Academy Vikings vs. Rocky Mount Academy Eagles
Halifax Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 73-55 fall against the Rocky Mount Academy Eagles. The Vikings were down 57-37 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Defeat or not, Halifax Academy got some senior leadership from Landon Peoples and Thad Harris. Peoples dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten boards, while Harris posted 15 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Harris is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last four games he's played. Avery Boone was another key player, putting up eight points.
