Basketball Game Preview: Canyon Springs Cougars vs. Bloomington Bruins

The Canyon Springs Cougars will venture away from home to take on the Bloomington Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Canyon Springs' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games.

Canyon Springs took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Vista del Lago 82-51.

Meanwhile, Bloomington came up short against Ramona on Wednesday and fell 73-62.

Bloomington has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Canyon Springs, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Canyon Springs took a serious blow against Bloomington when the teams last played back in November of 2019, falling 88-44. Can Canyon Springs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
